Tiamutin is available in a wide range of formulations and presentations, offering treatment options for all levels of disease challenge.

The in-feed premix can be used for treatment, prevention and control, while the solubles (a water soluble powder and an aqueous solution) are suitable for treatment when pigs are off their feed. The injectable is the option of choice for acute, life-threatening situations.

In-feed premix

Premixes are based on the highly-effective, gel-coated, granular concentrate. The internationally-proven gel coating, illustrated below, improves stability, reduces dustiness and ensures consistent mixing and dispersal in finished feed.

Solubles

Tiamutin Solution, for mixing with the drinking water of pigs, comes in convenient dose-delivery packs designed to aid accurate dosing. Also available as a Water Soluble Powder.

Injectable

Tiamulin base dissolved in an oil carrier provides prolonged duration of action with an effective concentration in the colon for 72 hours and in the lung for 48 hours[?], whilst reducing irritancy at the site of the injection.
